3. User Management
After setting up subsidiaries and departments, you can begin adding your users. The User Management screen is where you control who can log in and what they can do.
Creating a New User
When you click "Add New User", you must fill in several key fields:
- Name & Email: The user's login credentials.
- Phone Number: This is **critical**. This is the M-Pesa/Jenga phone number where payments will be sent if this user creates a requisition for themselves.
- Department: Assigns the user to their home department.
- Role: This defines their permissions.
Employee: Can only create their own requests.Supervisor,Manager, etc.: Can approve requests.Admin: Can access the Admin Setup.
- Supervisor: This is the **most important link**. You must select the user's direct supervisor. When this user submits a requisition, their assigned supervisor is the first person who will be notified.
